Hi! I’m Alice,
I’ve been into photography since I was a little girl filling disposable cameras with shot after shot of my teddy on the back of the sofa or creative views of my grandparents ornaments.
I have always loved taking photographs around where I lived and on family holidays How could I not when surrounded with the stunning scenery of Pendle, North Yorkshire and further afield Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and Devon?
I have been lucky enough to spend lots of time in Bournemouth getting photographs of close family friends and their surfing, skateboarding, sea loving kids.
When I started Manchester University I met a few musicians and began taking photos of them playing gigs. I was then lucky enough to be able to take photos for some of my idols including Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, Frank Turner and Skinny Lister.
My parents are foster carers and we are able to spend time with other fostering families as well as family friends and their children, getting lots of pictures for memory boxes and life story books along the way.
Through fostering I hold enhanced DBS clearance and have worked with lots of children of varying ages and with a wide range of needs or abilities. I have photographed children and young people, in large groups and individually, for a number of years at fostering events.
I enjoy working with a local dance academy, taking action shots of individual and group work during ballet, pointe and freestyle classes.
